Keely completed Honours Degrees in both Philosophy and Sociology before attending the University of Windsor for her Bachelor of Laws. While completing her legal studies, she volunteered at Community Legal Aid, representing clients charged with criminal offences who could not afford to hire counsel. From that point on, Keely’s focus for over a decade has been on ensuring that those navigating the criminal justice system had someone to advocate on their behalf. Working exclusively in the field of criminal defence, Keely represents individuals in both the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice, for all types of offences, with a particular focus on Indigenous persons who come into conflict with the law. Having founded the Firm in 2013, Keely has dedicated much of her career to ensuring that everyone she represents feels like they have a voice and an advocate on their behalf.
Keely is a member of the Toronto Lawyer’s Association as well as the Criminal Lawyer’s Association and is a Toronto courthouse representative. Courthouse in Toronto.
